- All our kits are constructed from high-quality 3/4″ Birch Plywood.
- All kits comprise of a cross section of 3.5″, allowing you to fill the cavity with insulation should you require.
- All arches, when built, are 1.5″ in thickness, making them a very professional, sturdy construction.
- All kits are pre-drilled at precise points, allowing for you to run electric cables, etc, through the cavity if required.
With these precision computer-cut and designed framework work all you need to do is assemble the components to construct the arched frames. All parts are numbered to make assembly easy.
All framework is constructed using the tried and tested ‘Tusk Tenon and Wedge Joints’.
With this frame, the two end walls are left open, for you to build yourself – examples include a window at one end and a door at the other. We do not provide the wood for the end walls.
To construct the kit, you will usually need:
- Approx. 1 Gallon Waterproof Glue (PVA or similar)
- Either a Nail Gun and Nails or a powered screwdriver
- Screws to construct the arched frames
- A Hammer to tap the wedges in.
